Who is Buzz Media?
A little about me
My name is Dale Spangler. I grew up in northeast Ohio, not far from the shores of Lake Erie. My dad was a former car drag racer and introduced me to two wheels when I was eight years old, and shortly thereafter began racing motocross at age 12.
After retiring from successfully chasing my dream of becoming a professional motocross racer in 1995, I shifted my focus to a career in the powersports industry, where I have spent the last 32 years as a marketing specialist, content creator, and writer.
Today, I am a full-time writer, storyteller, and conversationalist. As a lifelong wheelsports enthusiast (two and four-wheel), I founded Buzz Media in 2020 to focus on long-form writing projects, historical articles, and copywriting for brands within the greater motorcycle, powersports, and overlanding industries.
My approach
As a writer and content marketing specialist, I aim to create content that cuts through today’s digital clutter and resonates with the core audience of motorsports enthusiasts.
As a lifelong rider and enthusiast, I speak the language of motorsports. With 32 years of experience, I aim to craft clear and compelling content that genuinely reflects each brand’s voice and business objectives.
Brands I have worked with, or currently work for, include onX Offroad, Mecum Auctions, eBay Motors, Emde Books (Parts Unlimited and Drag Specialties Magazines), UBCO Electric Motorcycles, Wössner Pistons, Dynojet Research, Wiseco Performance, Dust Electric Moto, Segway Powersports, Hisun Motors, Passium, EVS Sports, and LIFT Safety.
I love telling stories
Many of the projects I work on are a direct result of my passion and enthusiasm for motorsports, history, and storytelling. I love sharing the unique stories of the many brands and people that make motorsports so special. Motorsports is more than just a job for me, it’s my lifestyle (and life’s work).
I have also regularly contributed to media publications as a writer and podcast host with the likes of VAHNA Magazine (formerly META), the Pit Pass Moto Podcast by Evergreen Podcasts, The Dirt Buzz Podcast, RideApart.com, Upshift, and Dealernews.
